Erdkinder

In Erdkinder we are learning engineering concepts while learning and utilizing The Design Process. We learn how and why things work with a special focus on being stewards to our community. Our projects vary depending on the interests of our class. We learn basic tools and how to work with them safely.

Various projects including an egg drop and a Rube Goldberg machine.

One of our bigger projects was working with Mr. Sean to create new seating for the pond and making a new pump and filtration system.

Students learned about different styles and types of architecture for this project. We were given the footprint of a saddlebag style house located outside of Macon Georgia. The students learned about some standards of architecture and how to create a floor plan while another group remodeled the gym to include a full basketball court and portrayed it with a foam core model.
